For Promoters: How RaceReady Bills

RaceReady empowers promoters to make more revenue at their events, and provide a better experience for their racers. And RaceReady also charges its clients—but not in the way you might think.

When promoters use RaceReady's system for online registration, scoring, or live timing, RaceReady immediately sends all funds to the promoter's bank account daily, less any applicable fees that RaceReady withholds based on the Promoter's fee schedule.

In other words, when a customer buys something from the promoter on RaceReady, that money goes straight to the promoter, except for some fees (which are set in each promoter's contract). Transfers can take up to 48 hours.

RaceReady doesn't offer racer refunds on its own. But if a promoter needs to authorize a refund and if RaceReady can accommodate it, such funds will come out of that day's batch of funds being deposited into the promoter's bank account. If such funds are insufficient, then funds will be automatically withdrawn from the promoter's bank account. If the bank account's funds are insufficient, RaceReady may suspend the Promoter's RaceReady account until the outstanding amount is settled.

NOTE TO PROMOTERS: Fees assessed may not coincide with revenues deposited into the promoter's bank account—sometimes there can be a difference between the two of 24-48 hours. But all funds withheld and distributed can be reviewed in the Accounting tab under "Reports By Event".
